Gurjar International Association (GIA) is committed to the advancement of the Gurjar community throughout the world.  GIA’s initial focus is on Gurjar’s in North America, which will extend to Europe, India, and other countries.  Gurjar’s have been migrating to North America from diverse regions of India and represent a broad demographic that includes students, academicians, scientists, technology professionals, and entrepreneurs.  However, the Gurjar community is geographically dispersed all over the USA and Canada.

GIA will strive to unite the Gurjar community, foster unity, empowerment, and progress by promoting the cultural heritage, social welfare, educational, and economic advancement of Gurjar’s while advocating for their rights and wellbeing.

GIA provides the platform to celebrate diversity, encourage dialogue, and facilitate networking, mentorship, and collaboration among Gurjar’s from different regions and backgrounds.  Through our collective efforts, we aspire to uplift and strengthen the Gurjar community. GIA’s organizational Goals, Objectives, benefits and services include:

To preserve and Promote Gurjar culture, traditions and heritage:

- Promote social networking events at regional and national level
- Organize art and cultural events and festivals - Diwali, Holi and other
- Organize educational exhibitions and speaker forums to promote our culture
- Promote and teach Gurjar language and folklore
- Research, Publish and archive Gurjar cultural traditions, practices and history.

Support and empower Gurjars for advancement in higher education, training, skills development and Jobs:

- Provide guidance and mentorship in college admissions
- Guide, support and mentor immigrant students in transition to North America
- Provide scholarships and educational resources
- Establish education and training centers including vocational training programs;
- Support placement of students in corporate internships and in getting jobs.

Support and empower Gurjars in business entrepreneurship:

- Create entrepreneurial forum/groups to promote business activities
- Promote business networking and mentorship
- Provide management consulting to startups
- Provide financial advice and support.

Be a strong advocate for the rights and welfare of gujars with public outreach and elected officials:

- Counsel and assist new immigrants in navigating in a new environment in North America
- Provide western culture training and orientation to facilitate smooth transition
- Counsel and support new immigrants in legal and immigration matters
- Monitor and report on human rights violations affecting Gurjars
